 From Videla’s Argentina to the France of Claude François: a poignant performance about identity, memory, and resilience through the eyes of a child.

The House of the Rabbits is the theatrical adaptation of the three autobiographical novels by Laura Alcoba. She recounts her childhood in 1970s Argentina under Videla’s dictatorship and her exile to France with her mother, where she takes her first steps into adolescence while discovering the French language, the songs of Claude François, and the Parisian suburbs of the 1980s.

La casa de los conejos es la adaptación teatral de las tres novelas autobiográficas de Laura Alcoba. La autora relata su infancia en la Argentina de los años 70, marcada por la dictadura de Videla, y su exilio en Francia junto a su madre, donde da sus primeros pasos hacia la adolescencia mientras descubre la lengua francesa, las canciones de Claude François y la periferia parisina de los años 80.
